Making Room For More
ONGOING
Growth is vital for life. From the time we are born to the time we die, our bodies continue to grow. A growing body is a healthy body. Growth is not just vital to the human body, it is vital to the body of Christ; the Church. In the book of Acts we discover the birth and establishment of the Church. Through the reading Acts we see a pattern of continued growth.
Acts 2:47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. f And the Lord added to their number g daily those who were being saved. Acts 5:14 Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number
Not only did the early church grow in numbers but new congregations were being started all around the known world. It would be difficult to read the book of Acts without noticing God’s desire for His body to grow and expand exponentially. This past year has been a great time of growth for our congregation. So far, we are averaging over 40 more people in worship than this time last year. The growth is not just on Sunday Mornings. We have had over 100 people on Wednesday nights, and our children’s classes continue to add new students every week. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Growth is an exciting and challenging time. We have seen the challenges through larger classes, bigger activities, and increased needs. Together we can meet the needs of our current growth and “Make Room For More” in the future. In 2007, we have already accomplished many things together:
Church Pictoral Directory
Remodeling Children’s Classes
Community Service Projects
Developing A Servants Heart Campaign
Church Newsletter
It is now time to add a project to the list. With God’s blessings we will be able to “Make Room For More” people to worship, grow, fellowship, and learn about Christ with us.
The project conists of three major developments:
1. A 1,440 Squre Foot Office / Classroom Building
2. Pave and mark the parking lot
3. Remodel current office and classroom space.
The remodeling will create two teen rooms and an additional nursery.
