Ministries
Our elders have developed several ministries that are designed to meet the needs of not only our own members, but also those of our surrounding community. Below is a brief description of each of our ministries.
The Benevolence Ministry works to help people meet life's essential needs. As a congregation we want to work together to meet needs in our church family and community. In the past we have paid utility bills, provided food and school supplies, and held clothing giveaways.

The Building Ministry keeps all of our buildings in great shape and ready for today and tomorrow.
Led by Verne Girard
The Encouragement Ministry works to uplift members of our church family in times of illness, loss, or other distressing issues.
Led by Karen Hawkins
The Garden Ministry is an active group that keeps the area in front of our building looking great and welcoming.
Led by Bill Jordan
The Men’s Ministry exists to strengthen men in their walk with the Lord. Activities include:
• Annual Wild Game Dinner
• Monthly Men’s Breakfast & Study
• Additional activities throughout the year
Led by Danny Yates
PHCC is blessed to partner with missionaries locally and globally. Ten percent of our income is dedicated to missions. We also look for other ways to support missions (e.g., diaper drives, care packages and mission trips).

The Outreach Ministry focuses on sharing the good news of Christ in our community.
Led by Kevin Holcombe
The goal of the Welcome Ministry is to greet everyone with a smile and to help make visitors to PHCC feel like they want this to be their home.
The Women's Ministry seeks to help women grow in faith, unity and service. Following the New Testament teaching in Titus 2, this group is inter-generational and encourages all ladies to attend.

The Worship Ministry programs our morning service, including singers, musicians, sound and video delivery.
